Position Summary: Lily Flower of the Valley Corporation seeks compassionate, bilingual Community Outreach Workers to support the launch of its integrated mental health clinic in January 2026 and the expansion of neurobiology education, psychiatry-informed programming, and the Mind–Brain Research Laboratory beginning April 2026.
Community Outreach Workers will serve as trusted liaisons between Lily Flower and the communities we serve, helping to increase awareness, reduce stigma, and connect individuals and families to culturally responsive mental health services and science-based education.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct community outreach and engagement in underserved neighborhoods, schools, faith-based settings, and community organizations
- Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate information about mental health services, group programs, and educational workshops
- Support outreach for neurobiology and mental health education initiatives, including community workshops and classes
- Assist with recruitment and engagement for research and Mind–Brain Lab activities beginning April 2026
- Help connect community members to clinic intake, services, and referrals
- Support stigma-reduction and mental health literacy efforts
- Maintain accurate outreach and engagement records
Qualifications
- Bilingual required: Spanish is required; proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or another Chinese language is highly preferred
- Experience working in community outreach, health education, social services, or nonprofit settings
- Strong cultural humility and ability to work with immigrant, refugee, and underserved populations
- Interest in mental health, neurobiology education, psychiatry, or community-based research
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Experience
- Prior work in mental health, public health, education, or community advocacy
- Familiarity with trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches
- Experience supporting community education or research outreach
Compensation:
- Hourly rate ranging from $17.50 to $20.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
